There are no tests, no text books and no grades at this academy of higher learning, but there is music - Lots of music. The internationally acclaimed Red Bull Music Academy is coming to Seattle with two sessions this November and December and now through June 3rd, they're accepting applications for 60 students: "The Red Bull Music Academy is a workshop for D-J's and music producers, people from all over the world can apply to attend workshops with legends of the trade from the last 20 or 30 years, so anyone from Jeff Mills to Josh Peterson from Mad Libs! to Prince Paul, will be coming in and do workshops on music history, technology, business aspects." Many Ameri, co-founder of the academy, says the Red Bull Music Academy is intended for those with a love for music and a strong desire to be involved in its evolution. D-J's, producers, M-C's, singers, sound engineers, classical musicians and music aficionados will all be considered.
