JunkYardU.com was founded by two college graduates. During their combined 13 years on college campuses they experienced the same frustrations as many students. The frustration (and expense) of buying and then selling back textbooks, of trying to furnish a dorm room or apartment on a budget, and of trying to unload that same furniture when it came time to move or graduate. One of the biggest problems they experienced while at school was trying to find a low cost, low effort way to furnish their dorm rooms and apartments, and then later sell their no-longer needed stuff.
