In a unique blend of rock, charity and leading edge technology, U2's Bono is taking his fight against African hunger and AIDS to a whole new level. During the "Vertigo" tour, Bono will ask fans to join the "One Campaign" from their seats by sending a text message with their mobile phones. John Gage at Sun Microsystems: "Sun is supporting Bono by providing the technical infrastructure to allow a million Americans to organize themselves to become a political voice in support of debt relief, increased AIDS support and change in trade policies for Africa." Bono is urging all Americans to text-message their representatives to make their voice heard: "What I hope is that you tell the politicians to do right by Africa.
