OUR PEOPLE
Collegiate Presswire's leadership team is made up of professionals with experience in journalism, advertising, marketing and communications. We pioneered the college-media distribution business with the debut of Collegiate Presswire in 1998, and are totally focused on ensuring its continued development, innovation and success.

Our goal is always "more": Collegiate Presswire aims to offer more services to more clients to help them reach more college media outlets in more ways than ever before.

Matthew B. Farlie, Co-Founder and Director of Business Development

As Director of Business Development, and a co-founder of Collegiate Presswire, Matt Farlie’s responsibilities include negotiating corporate partnerships, developing new services and plotting the growth-strategy of the company.

Prior to starting Collegiate Presswire, Farlie's early foray into public relations started with a seven-semester stint on The Hoya, Georgetown University's twice-weekly college newspaper. More recently, Farlie worked in the brand-marketing practice at Burson-Marsteller, advising clients in launching new brands and designing publicity campaigns.

Farlie is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a bachelor’s in English and a minor in History.

Lisa Bannerot, Co-Founder and Director of Media Services

As Director of Media Services for Collegiate Presswire, Lisa Bannerot is responsible for working with college-media editors to meet their content needs, growing the list of media outlets that receive Collegiate Presswire's news and enhancing the services we provide.

Bannerot, also a co-founder of the company, has extensive media agency experience with Saatchi and Saatchi, DFS Compton and J. Walter Thompson. As a Media Planning Supervisor, Bannerot has wide-ranging knowledge of media including newspaper, TV, radio, magazine and outdoor media.
