What�s worse at a job interview: Bad breath or an unzipped zipper?  How about on a first date � an acne breakout or bad breath? These were among the questions makers of Listerine Pocketpaks^� commissioned Wirthlin Worldwide to ask 1,000 Americans recently in a nationwide survey.

The answers?  Bad breath trumps an unzipped zipper as the most embarrassing blunder on a job interview and is considered the biggest first date faux pas � far worse than having acne or greasy hair.  The survey also found that an astounding 61 percent of Americans consider foul breath to be their principal concern when waking up next to a significant other.  These findings are particularly noteworthy given that August 6^th is National Fresh Breath Day � a day created to recognize the importance of good oral hygiene. 

A few tips for proper oral hygiene?  Brush thoroughly twice a day... floss daily... use an antiseptic mouthwash twice a day... use oral care strips when brushing and rinsing is not a convenient option... and visit your dentist regularly.
