Suggested anchor lead-in: A new survey by the American Dietetic Association Foundation suggests that children and their parents may not always be on the same page when it comes to kids nutrition and physical activity.  John Driden has more.

The American Dietetic Association Foundation looked at childrens food-related behavior and physical activity from the perspective of both kids and their parents.  A-D-A spokesperson David Grotto tells us more:

Well, the survey found that parents and their children have a lot to talk about when it comes to kids eating and physical activity habits.  Kids eat more often than many parents realize and eat more often in front of the TV or computer. And parents underestimate how often their children eat their school lunches, and the reasons why.  Now the good news is, most kids say their parents are the people they most want to be like, and theyre comfortable talking to mom and dad about food and health.  So the message to parents is talk to your kids.
