Suggested Anchor Lead In: If youve ever wondered if those bad headaches you get are really migraines, now theres a simple way to find out.  Rasa Kaye reports.

The results of a study using a new screening tool for migraine have just been published in the medical journal Neurology.  Doctor Richard Lipton of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is the studys lead author.  He says the screening tool, called ID Migraine, makes it much easier to identify if you may have migraine:

The test is for people who are concerned about their headaches and who have headaches that interfere with their lives.

Id Migraine consists of three questions, which are: One, Have your headaches limited your activities for a day or more in the last three months?  Two, Do you feel sick to your stomach when you have a headache?  Three, Does light bother you when you have a headache?

If you answered yes to any two of these questions, you should see a doctor.  There are effective migraine medications available.

ID Migraine was developed with a grant from Pfizer.  For more information about migraine, visit migraine-relief-dot-com.
