America Online has launched "15 Hours of Fame," a new contest that gives winning entrants 15 hours of national stardom using the power of the internet. To be considered for the opportunity, A-O-L members create and submit A-O-L journals, also known as Blogs, that share their biggest secrets, talents, stories or more compelling information. Bill Schreiner from A-O-L, explains more: "Fifteen Hours of Fame is a contest we're running at A-O-L that gives everyday people the chance to 'star' in the world's largest stage. What we're doing is asking our members to share a story from their past, an interesting hobby or occupation - their 'words-of-wisdom' and the winners will be put on the A-O-L Welcome screen where they'll be able to share what they've submitted with an audience of over 25 million people for 15 hours."
