Music superstar and best-selling author Madonna is releasing her second children's book today, "Mr. Peabody's Apples".   The book tells the story of Mr. Peabody, a beloved elementary school teacher, who one day finds himself ostracized when rumors about him spread through his town.  He silences the gossip to teach a poignant lesson about how we need to choose our words carefully.  In an interview today on Radio KOL, the daily live radio show on America Online's service for kids, Madonna talked with kids across the country about the book and the lessons it teaches.

"Obviously, I've had that personal experience of being a public figure and having things written about me, but I've also spoken about other people.  You know, we all get involved in gossip, whether we want to admit it or not.  Everybody likes to gossip and I think it's a good idea to try to steer away from that as much as possible."

Announcer:
Madonna also joined the ranks of Hillary Duff and Clay Aiken and played the infamous "moo/baa" game on Radio KOL, where DJ Rick Adams shouts out the name of an animal breed and celebrities guess whether it's a sheep or a cow by calling out either "moo" or "baa."

Sfx:
Soundbite of madonna playing moo/baa.

The music superstar showed her knowledge of animal breeds by scoring 6 correct answers. Tune into AOL keyword: Radio KOL to hear the entire interview.
