How much do commuters hate gridlock?  A lot, according to a new Yahoo! Autos Survey.  When asked what theyd rather do than sit in gridlock traffic for over an hour, 24 percent say theyd rather get a cavity filled, 22 percent would rather stand in line at the d-m-v, and 19 percent would rather sit in the middle seat on a transatlantic flight.   Those polled were also asked about their pet peeves.  The top answer was drivers talking on their cell phones and not paying attention at 30 percent, followed by tailgaters, drivers who dont use their turn signals, and drivers who cut you off.  The only activity that people think is more annoying than sitting in gridlock traffic was standing on a crowded subway for over an hour.  To take the daily poll on yahoo autos go to autos-dot-yahoo-dot-com.
