From Collegiate Presswire's RadioWire (https://www.cpwire.com/radio): Radio Actress Angie Harmon and husband Jason Seehorn of the St. Louis Rams were in New York recently to help Citymeals-on-Wheels get meals to many of the city's homebound seniors. Harmon and Seehorn were on hand at the Burden Center for the Aging in Manhattan when one of two new Dodge Durangos were presented to Citymeals-on-Wheels:
Its great to be part of Dodge - and the new Durango being able to go out there and give them a new vehicle to provide these people with meals.
Harmon says helping those in need is part of the holiday spirit:
You dont have to be an actor or an athlete or someone successful, you can give to your neighbors. Its just the spirit of giving and mixing that in with the holidays, I think its a lot easier to do than at other times of the year for a lot of people. Its a year-round thing. Just giving to each other I think is just an incredible way to be, and were just proud to be part of it.
Citymeals-on-Wheels delivers more than two million meals each year. This holiday season, the new Durangos will help deliver 93-hundred meals - with the capacity to hold up to 200 meals at a time and deliver a days worth of meals on one tank of gas.
