Data from two pivotal clinical trials presented at the world�s largest breast cancer meeting in San Antonio support the use of the breast cancer drug Faslodex as an effective alternative to older treatments for postmenaopausal women with advanced breast cancer. Doctor John Pippen, at the Baylor-Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas, and a lead trial investigator: "Basically, we wanted to know if the new drug Faslodex was a reasonable option in women who had their tumors grow while they were taking Tamoxifen and it turns out that it looks like the Faslodex will help us in that setting.
