While the United Nations and other groups debate whether the crisis in Sudans Darfur region constitutes genocide, militias continue to attack villages forcing survivors to flee their homes, as shadowy rebel groups attack police and soldiers.  Each week thousands more flood displacement camps in Darfur and neighboring Chad.  The militias have driven upwards of one and a half million, mostly black Africans, from their homes and into the camps.  John Kismir from the Christian Relief and Development Agency World Vision, reports:

More and more people come everyday, most of them literally with nothing but the clothes on their back.

Nonetheless, agencies like World Vision, continue their efforts despite the difficulties:

We welcome the other agencies, especially like the world food program and units that can provide food, healthcare, clean water, and services for children.
