SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Nov 11, 2002--It`s never too soon to think about winter break! This holiday season, Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) is giving students a great escape from the doldrums of cabin fever and a little too much quality time with the family with the release of four new video games that will keep them entertained - Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater(TM) 4, Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer(R), Street Hoops(TM) and Minority Report(TM).

Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 4
Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 4 lets players take on the role of legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk and 13 other athletes as they skate through enormous free-roaming levels, choosing from 190 progressively harder goals and building their skills to perform 14 of the greatest skateboarding stunts of all time. The game delivers the deepest and most challenging gameplay experience in the Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater series, including a comprehensive online feature where up to eight players from anywhere in the world can go head-to-head in new multiplayer modes like Goal Attack and Capture the Flag. The next-generation console games are rated ''T'' (Teen), and the hand-held and PlayStation versions are rated ''E'' (Everyone) by the ESRB. (PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube(TM), Game Boy(R) Advance, PlayStation(R) game console)

Kelly Slater`s Pro Surfer
Kelly Slater`s Pro Surfer lets players ride like six-time world champion Kelly Slater or as one of eight of the most accomplished pro surfers of all time as they search for the perfect wave. Featuring a huge variety of challenges, tricks and real-world environments with ultra realistic wave conditions and intuitive controls, the game delivers the adrenaline action of surfing and the rush surfers feel when dropping in on a wave. The console games are rated ''E'' (Everyone - mild lyrics, mild violence) and the hand-held version is rated ''E'' (Everyone) by the ESRB. (PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance)

Minority Report
Based on Steven Spielberg`s futuristic thriller, Minority Report lets players relive the movie experience in a whole new adventure. Players assume the role of the movie`s hero, Precrime Officer John Anderton, the head of an elite police squad that predicts and apprehends murderers before the crimes can be committed. When Anderton is accused of a pre-murder, he`s forced to elude the law to prove his innocence and uncover an insidious conspiracy in the process. Minority Report is a third person action-adventure that combines hand-to-hand combat with futuristic weapons and devices straight out of the movie. The game has been rated ''T'' (Violence) by the ESRB. (PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance)

Street Hoops
Street Hoops is a gritty, ''in your face'' street-style basketball game that encompasses the look, speed, energy and attitude of park/playground blacktop competition. The game allows players to compete in a nationwide tournament representing their hometown on the most notorious street courts in the nation. Players will be able to choose from a roster of athletes and performers, including key athletes made famous by the And 1 Mix Tapes™ and Nike`s ''Freestyle'' commercial series. Street Hoops has been rated ''T'' (Teen) by the ESRB. (PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube)
