HOBOKEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Feb. 9, 2006--If you've just begun second semester of your senior year, chances are you've been asked the age-old question at least once: "So, what are you going to do after graduation?" And, if you have a direction in mind, oftentimes the tests don't end when the graduation cap gets tossed in the air. Many fields like Teaching and Pharmacy require challenging certification exams that need to be passed in order to pursue the career path you want to take. CliffsNotes will launch a list of titles that will come in handy for students studying for these required exams this Spring:

CliffsTestPrep(R) PCAT, Fred N. Grayson (Wiley; March 2006; $19.99)

The Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) is required by over half of U.S. Colleges of Pharmacy as the standardized test that pplicants must pass in order to be admitted. CliffsTestPrep PCAT includes an introductory section describing the format and structure of the exam so test-takers will know what to expect. This guide includes five full-length practice tests, complete with answers and detailed explanations.

CliffsTestPrep(R) TExES Generalist EC-4, Fred N. Grayson (Wiley; January 2006; $29.99)

The TExES Generalist EC-4 test is the general-knowledge teacher certification test that all prospective Texas elementary school teachers are required to pass. This TestPrep guide contains subject reviews of the five domains that comprise the test: English, Language Arts, and Reading; Mathematics; Social Studies; Science; and Art, Music, Health, and Physical Education. There are also two full-length practice tests, complete with answers and detailed explanations. Priced lower than other review books, with the book includes an additional practice test to help examinees get comfortable with the testing process, gauge their progress, and pinpoint areas for more review.

CliffsTestPrep(R) Praxis II, Diane E. Kern (Wiley; March 2006; $26.99)

This is the first and only Praxis II guide devoted exclusively to the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT)-a must for aspiring teachers who need to pass any of the four PLT tests. Praxis II PLT tests are a requirement for teaching licenses in 20 states. This one-of-a-kind, PLT-specific book includes test-prep materials for all four PLT tests: Early Childhood, Grades K-6, Grades 5-9, and Grades 7-12. Materials for each of the four tests include a self-assessment test, subject reviews, and two practice tests; a total of 12 tests in this guide that fills a void in review materials for professional licensure examinations.

CliffsTestPrep(R) RICA, Jerry Bobrow, PhD (Wiley; February 2006; $19.99)

California's Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) test must be passed by all prospective California elementary and special education teachers. The only book of its kind on the market, this guide includes subject reviews by domain, analyses of question types, an extensive vocabulary list, and two full-length practice tests complete with answers and explanations.
