IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Sep 22, 2003--Boost Mobile, a leading provider of pay-as-you-go wireless phones and services, has introduced a new prepay walkie-talkie service aimed at reducing the financial sting from wireless phone bills, and helping students manage their budget. The company`s new prepay walkie-talkie service provides instant, unlimited communication to anyone on Nextel`s nationwide network.

With the touch of a single button on the side of a Boost Mobile phone, customers can communicate with more than 140,000 other Boost customers and over 12 million Nextel and Nextel Partners` subscribers throughout the continental United States and Hawaii.

Boost Mobile is offering Boost Walkie-Talkie at a promotional rate of $1.00 per day for unlimited national usage during September, a month when most students are returning to school. Starting Oct. 1, Boost customers will pay $1.50 a day to use the Boost Walkie-Talkie nationwide, and $1.00 a day to use the feature in their home market.
