K-F-C is teaming up with Registered Dietitian Tracy Gensler to set the record straight - fried chicken can, in fact, be part of a healthy and balenced diet. When looking at meal options, Gensler stresses that numbers matter especially when talking calories, carbohydrates and fat and people shouldn't feel guilty about eating fried chicken because it all comes back to balance, moderation and exercise:
"People should no longer feel guilty about eating fried chicken. Most people don't realize they can enjoy an entire meal at K-F-C that includes an Original Recipe Chicken breast and two sides like corn on the cob and mashed potatoes with gravy for less than half the fat and less calories than a Burger King Whopper. Of course, you should eat all food in moderation and balance that with exercise."
