Better World Travel`s ``Travel Cool`` Carbon Offset Program Allows Green Travelers to Neutralize Pollutants During Air Travel

Better World Travel`s ''Travel Cool'' carbon offset gift certificates may be your answer. Better World Travel (www.betterworldtravel.com), has gift certificates available now that will allow air travelers to offset carbon dioxide gas emissions and other green house gas resulting from their air travel.

Book a round-trip domestic flight through Journeys, a Better World Travel Company (BWT), and donate $11.00 to the Travel Cool Carbon Offset Program, a one-of-a kind program certified by the Climate Neutral Network. For international flights the cost is $22.00 per ticket. As part of the traveler`s invoice, BWT will send along a receipt for the tax-deductible contribution.
Each time a passenger flies, they are responsible for approximately one ton of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. Passengers who book a flight with BWT, and donate a small fee to the Travel Cool program, will be contributing to energy-saving projects and technologies that dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Travelers may also participate in the Travel Cool program without purchasing their ticket through Better World Travel. Just send a tax deductible donation in the amount of $11 for each domestic round trip flight ($22 for round trip international flight) along with a copy of your airline ticket or receipt.
With each Travel Cool donation, a contribution is made directly into the Better World Travel Foundation. The Foundation carefully screens and selects carbon offset projects that neutralize the emissions directly contributing to global warming. By eliminating an equal or greater amount of greenhouse gases than is produced from air travel, our projects achieve zero impact on global climate change. These projects will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by tens of thousands of tons each year.
