Companies to Deliver Integrated Offering to Benefit Higher Education Clients
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Jun 11, 2003--Blackboard Inc., a leading enterprise software company for e-Education, has signed a value added reseller agreement with MICROS Systems, Inc.(NASDAQ:MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, to resell MICROS Point-of-Sale (POS) systems into the U.S. higher education market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Blackboard Inc. will resell the MICROS 3700 and 9700 POS systems. Additionally, MICROS is developing an interface between its POS systems and the Blackboard Transaction System(TM), utilizing the Blackboard Building Blocks specification.
