CTN is a premiere television network serving more than 5 million students at over 720 colleges across the country. Offering a diverse mix of music, news, sports, events and specials, CTN is dedicated to covering all aspects of college life both on and off campus.

AMC-3 is a hybrid C/Ku-band satellite that became fully operational in 1997 at 87 degrees W.L. AMC-3 carries twenty-four 36 MHz 16-watt C-band transponders and twenty-four 36 MHz 60-watt Ku-band transponders committed to the radio, education, broadcast, business television and broadband Internet markets providing CONUS, Hawaiian, Mexican and Caribbean coverage.
