ExxonMobil Announces 2004 Mobilfluid 424 Scholarship Program; Scholarship Program Opened to Agriculture Students Nationwide

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Apr 14, 2004--ExxonMobil today announced that it is accepting entries for its 2004 ''Mobilfluid 424 Scholarships,'' a college scholarship that provides $4,000 to four students pursuing a college degree at an accredited U.S. agriculture
school.

Scholarship winners will be selected based on their responses to one of three written essay categories, or a fourth photo-essay category. The theme of all four categories in centered around ''Farming in 2010.'' One winner will be selected from each of the four categories by a panel of judges knowledgeable in today`s agriculture industry. The deadline for entries is June 30, 2004, and winners will be notified by Aug. 1, 2004.

''We are pleased to sponsor the Mobilfluid 424 Scholarship program again in 2004 to underscore our support for the future of American agriculture,'' said Ken Cicora, lubricants marketing advisor, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties. ''Last year`s student submissions were extremely inspiring and we are anxious to see the thoughtful and creative responses from this year`s applicants.''

Applicants must submit a one page, single-spaced essay addressing:

-- ''Farming Equipment in 2010''

-- ''The Typical Farm in 2010''

-- ''The Greatest Change in Farming from 2000-2010''

-- or submit an original photo or drawing/graphic, along with 100 words or less, describing ''Agriculture in 2010''
