Dale Earnhardt, Junior is on a winning streak, but this time it�s not on the race track.  For the second straight year, fans voted him the Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits National Motorsports Press Association NASCAR Most Popular Driver.  He became the fifth driver in the award history to win in consecutive years and led the fan voting since the start of the 2004 season:

�Being that so many fans voted this year, I think that reflects how popular the award itself has become, to the fans and how much it means to the drivers winning the Grands! Biscuits Most Popular Driver award � it really says a lot.  I really have to thank my fans for voting for me and making this possible for me.�

A record three-point-eight million votes were recorded in 2004, making it the third straight year more than three million votes were cast by fans via the website, w-w-w-dot-most popular driver-dot-com.
