This is the time of the year when people traditionally reflect on the year just ended, but this year kids of all ages across the nation are taking it a step further.  Theyre creating online yearbooks with their choices for the top news, sports athletes, and entertainment icons of the year through a program from S-B-C and Yahoo!  The program allows students to compare their choices to the top Yahoo! Searches in their area.  Nancy Evers from Yahoo!:

We just gave the kids the tools to build their online yearbook and have their say on what the biggest happenings were in 2004.  They did the rest. It has been really fun to see them expressing their picks for the most popular movies, athletes, current events, T-V stars and music artists.  Not surprisingly, its clear that they really have their finger on the pulse of whats hot in pop culture.

The online yearbooks can be viewed at s-b-c-dot-yahoo-dot-com-slash-yearbook.
