British rock quartet Coldplay will help jumpstart a new on-demand web-based video program called "Smash on Yahoo! Music." Spearheaded by Pepsi and Yahoo!, Smash will feature original music video programming and a unique array of exclusive footage, showing fans a side of their favorite bands that they've never seen before. Dave Goldberg from Yahoo! Music:
"What we'll offer to fans will be fresh and unique footage of artists on and off the stage, groups performing their favorite covers for the first time of music that's had an impact on their lives, tips from hot D.J.'s, and lots of other great original programming."
Smash launches in June, with exclusive interviews from Coldpay and in-studio performances of their hits "Speed of Sound" and "In My Own Place."
