If anyone personifies strength and confidence it's mega-star Queen Latifah.  The Grammy-winning musician and Oscar-nominated actress presided over an emotional awards ceremony in New York City recently.  After a nationwide search, she announced the grand prize winner of the national Curvation(R) Project Confidence Awards, given to a local crusader who's building women's confidence and self-esteem in her community:

"I'm so proud to support the Curvation(R) Project Confidence Awards because they recognize women who not only personify and project the power of confidence, but actively encourage other women to gain confidence and self esteem, and that helps them live more fulfilling lives."

Queen Latifah presented a check representing $10,000 in grants from Curvation(R) to Yvonne Pointer of Cleveland, Ohio, so she can continue her important work building confidence and self esteem through her motivational women's group, Positive Plus. To find out more about how Curvation(R) is building a nation of confident women, log on to www.curvation.com.
