Thirty-three percent of teens say they would act unethically to get ahead if there was no chance of getting caught, according to a Junior Achievement/Harris Interactive poll. At the same time, 42 percent don�t believe you have to �bend� the rules to success and twenty-five percent weren�t sure. Barry Salsburg from Deloitte & Touche, which is underwriting a new business ethics curriculum for junior achievement, says the research confirms the need for the curriculum:
�Deloitte & Touche is teamed up with Junior Achievement to help communicate a clear message to kids that if you want to succeed in business - honesty is not only the best policy � it�s the only policy.�
Junior Achievement�s new �Excellence Through Ethics� curriculum, which rolls out nationally this fall, is being woven into 13 Junior Achievement programs and will reach more than three million students in fourth through 12th grades.
