If you're one of the forty-seven million American adults who don't get enough sleep, you may be at risk for injury and health problems, according to the National Sleep Foundation.  Doctor Stasia Wieber of the Sleep Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.

"If you don't get enough sleep you're more likely to have your mood affected, you're more likely to be anxious and irritable during the daytime. Your memory may be impaired and your reflex time may be impaired which is important for driving."

Sleep deprivation may even contribute to overeating, as twenty-four percent of the sleep deprived report failing their diet goals in a new survey from the makers of Tylenol PM. The same survey found that 69% of Americans want up to 4 more hours of sleep a night. To help fall asleep faster and sleep better, limit caffeine and try a warm bath before bedtime.  Also, safe over the counter sleep aids, like Tylenol PM, can help fight nighttime pain and ensure a restful night's sleep-so you'll awake focused and energized.  Sweet dreams!
