A growing trend in family vacations is adventure travel. Kayaking, Jeep four wheeling, hot air ballooning, surfing - these are just a few of the most popular activities. Savvy family vacationers are taking advantage of a number of resorts offering free nights and activity discounts. From now till August 31st at Hyatt Resorts guests can stay as few as two nights and get a third night free, plus 50 percent off a second room. Rates start as low as 165 dollars. Along with the free night, select resorts are offering savings on Adventure Hyatt activities. According to Hyatt Resorts Jeff Flater:

"Families on vacation today want to do things, but they just dont get a chance to do back home. So were offering a free night at all of our resorts this summer, which is a great value. But also, adventure activities that every member of the family can enjoy. Like hot-air ballooning in Scottsdale, night rafting down the Colorado River in Beaver Creek, even a deep sea dive a thousand feet to the ocean floor in Grand Cayman. These are safe adventures for the type of activities youll never forget."

Families can book their adventure vacations at adventure hyatt-dot-com, or by calling 1-800-55-hyatt.
