Millions of homeowners have refinanced their mortgages to save money now vehicle owners are doing the same. Brian Regan, Chief Consumer Officer of Lending Tree Inc., says consumers need to consider both their current interest rate and the term of their auto loan to decide if refinancing makes sense:

"Well, if youve got a car loan through a dealer and you were eligible for promotional offers like zero percent financing, than theres a good chance that you didnt get the lowest rate that you could have qualified for. So it might make sense for you to review your auto financing options online."

Regan says consumers considering refinancing their auto loan should compare a number of loan offers before they refinance. For more information, go to lendingtree-dot-com.
