Study Finds College Graduates Are Not Always Ready for the Working World

Students coming out of college assume they are prepared to take on the work world, but that is not always the case. In a recent study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, there was disparity between what employers look for in a college graduate and what qualities colleges feel are important for students to have. Both agreed on ethics and integrity as being important qualities in a college graduate, but after that they disagree. What both parties have learned is that closer collaboration will help schools better prepare students for the work world and life after graduation.
