Is it just us, or is there something in the water at several big schools that has them firing their football head coaches? First, it was University of Washington, now it's Notre Dame and Stanford. Can Penn State be far behind? All have one thing in common -- poor records this past season. These schools are all in the market now for new coaches and some, like Stanford, may have their eyes on a former coach who is newly available. Who knows how it will sort itself out, but we can only hope that whatever changes are made will improve the football at these schools next year.
