A study to be published in the April issue of the International Journal of Obesity found that adults who included three servings of lowfat Yoplait yogurt a day increasing calcium intake, loss significantly more weight, and more fat, especially around their stomach, during the 12 week study than those who simply reduced their calorie intake. Doctor Michael Zemel supervised this study:
"Yogurt is clearly an excellent source of calcium and an excellent source of dairy in essence. It�s something that our subjects liked so it was easy for them to consume three servings of yogurt to help them burn their body fat."
Many people mistakenly eliminate dairy products when their dieting says Doctor Zemel. Instead he says they should include low fat dairy products like Yoplait, because they can actually make it easier to get rid of those extra pounds.
