Halloween ghosts and goblins may be scary, but the thought of trick-or-treaters getting injured is even more frightening. According to the Dunkin Donuts Halloween Safety Survey, two out of three children will be trick-or-treating this year, and parents are more concerned about their safety doing that than they are about riding a bike or swimming in a pool. As part of the second annual "Mind your Munchkins" Halloween Safety Program, Dunkin Donuts and the Consumer Product Safety Commission reminds parents to make sure their kids costumes are safe. Hal Stratton, Chairman of the C-P-S-C:
"Costumes should be made of flame resistant fabric and fit well enough so theres no danger of tripping. If using a mask, make sure the eyeholes are large enough to allow full visibility, or an alternative to face masks is non-toxic face paint."
